The Cass City Area Historical Society is headquartered at Rawson Memorial District Library, 6495 Pine St. in Cass City, Michigan. Meetings are held in the Pinney Meeting Room at the library, unless otherwise noted.

The purpose of the Cass City Area Historical and GenelaSociety is to bring together people interested in local history, to promote knowledge and appreciation of the history of the Cass City Area and to procure such articles as may be deemed worthy of preservation. The current president is Katie Jackson.
